I believe the local Council provide some small green spaces (from a small border on the side of a road to flower tubs) for a local volunteer group to plant flowers in throughout the year, funded by donations from local businesses.

The spaces are looked after through the year and are a real joy to see, with new plants added where old ones have faded away.

This is one flower which was by its solitary self now in one such space, and was a real treat to see :-)
