This is the probable winner of the first referendum for the New Zealand flag.  New Zealanders voted for this design from a choice of five, though less than 50% of eligible voters took part in the postal vote.

It will be pitted against the current flag in the second referendum in March.

Always controversial - there's personal taste, and there's tradition.
