Pretty yellow flower

This has grown in my garden. I don't remember seeing it before but it's very pretty.

On my morning walk this morning we came across a cute little lost terrier with no collar. He came with us on our walk and fitted in very well (although we were worried he may have been mistreated as he seemed to flinch if you raised your hand near him) My friend said if he doesn't get claimed she will adopt him (I hope so ) Poor 'Rusty' is now waiting in the local kennels.
