After watering

It's been another warm day. The veges and flowers looked happier after watering. This pansy plant made it through winter and look just as lovely in summer. Meanwhile the new Petunias and Lobelias are starting to reveal their colours. It's a lovely space to think of Mum, especially as I think of 2 years ago.

Benedict has had a wee blip (so to speak) in his overall upward trend. He was frightened by a tradesman who came to do a couple of small jobs this morning. Then a firm "no!" from me when he jumped on the table and bench again sent him packing upstairs.

He's been a bit gun shy and out of sorts all day. He''ll work it out. It's a tough one. He needs patient and careful handling, and he needs to learn what he can and can't do.

Something I have noticed is he takes any of his smaller downstairs toys upstairs. I have to smile as I see him scamper up the stairs with a small felt mouse in his mouth, or a trail of string or elastic behind him :-)

Other than that, it's been a bitsy sort of day, all sorts of odd little jobs, and a degree of being easily side tracked too.

There are things to clear in the kitchen and a little tabby to tend to, before I head to bed.
