Kate Rusby

The Christmas season, for me, has truly begun. Today we got our Christmas tree and went to Brighton to see Kate R on her Christmas tour. She does a selection of South Yorkshire carols and her own songs. People in and around Sheffield gather in pubs and sing local renditions of trad carols, often accompanied by local brass bands. I've never heard carols sung with such huge gusto. (Beer fuelled possibly)
Kate was excellent btw.
