Don't look at me in that tone of voice

Just as I sat down to write Christmas cards I was distracted by this lady pheasant pecking her way down the garden.       To be honest, a piece of fluff floating by could  distract me from that task.     I even washed and vacuumed my car earlier to delay the inevitable.
Anyhow...
Surprisingly, she continued to walk towards me as I crept outside with my camera.    
See extra that Pete took of me feeding her a crumbled up oat biscuit.

We have christened her Oatie and I have a feeling we might see more of her despite that look of disapproval.     Hopefully Mr and Mrs Fox and family have gone away for Christmas...
