PEACE & QUIET

I was almost the only visitor at the bird sanctuary this afternoon. The portions were very generous in the cafeteria!

I went outside briefly and spotted either a Slavonian or Black-necked Grebe, but by the time a responsible adult expert volunteer had come out to look at it with me it had disappeared, of course. Still, he did call me "young lady", so all in all it was a good afternoon, if wet.
