Virgen Alters

Virgen de Guadalupe Processions have begun in ernest. The nighttime sky is full of exploding rockets and if you listen carefully the sound of music is always in the air. Due to scheduling conflicts, it looks as if I will miss the two main nights of activity, so I stopped into the church this morning on my way to town to see what I had missed. Turns out, plenty. When I got back with my alter photos, I realized I had focused on the many different type of virgens on the various alters. I couldn't pick just one, so it seemed a collage was the best way to show off the breadth of offerings on display so far.
