And a replacement bottle of gin to start the next batch tomorrow before a couple of days up in Lincoln.

A very quick catch up with the boys in Oxford on Skype - or similar - as we got ready to go out this morning. I missed most of it as I was in the shower, but managed to get a 'hello' and a 'bye' from Jonah!

Then a wonderful couple of hours spent at Holy Trinity with 'Lady Penelope' and the other members of their choir, practicing for the carol service next Sunday. Christmas is made much more real, amongst all the hype, singing carols, especially in a traditional old church building with a group of good singers.

A rather jolly afternoon spent tasting bottling the gin. Well it has to be done and after all...........it is Christmas.

So all in all, a productive day despite the awful weather.
