Waiting For The Christmas Cookies

Fridays are fun because I get to pick my youngest granddaughter up at school and spend the afternoon with her at our house before her mommy comes to pick her up.  Today we decided to make some Christmas cookies, and we chose a sugar cookie recipe called "Half Dips".  Well, you can probably guess the rest....yes, you dip in melted chocolate!!!  She loved the whole process and enjoyed learning about measuring and sifting flour, etc.  I had forgotten how much fun it is to bake, and she went home with a box of cookies to share with friends and family.  Note:  That is her great-grandmother's Christmas apron...she looked so cute in it!
