Woody is Back

The Greater Spotted Woodpecker came to visit again this morning, he seems to like resting in the Walnut tree and spent ages just gazing into mid air, which was great as it gave me a chance to photograph him.    Taken through the patio door glass, but I hardly dared move as he flies away at the slightest movement.
The rain started during the morning and now it's blowing a gale, I'll be glad to see some sunshine again.
