floods

High winds and heavy rain all night and all day. The Ilen river valley is under water and the town is on flood alert. 

I did lots of cleaning, in between phone chats and skype chats with the girl and Freddie. Lovely to see his little face. 

I put up some Christmas lights, but it feels so different this year, knowing that I wont be here for Christmas.
