Socialising

Second of three days off this week.

Joshua delivered to school then updating the RNA members list and other admin.
The RNA Christmas Lunch at the Greenbank Hotel was first up. Thirty of us sat down for a really good meal. Relaxing amongst friends in a great setting what better way to spend three hours.
Home and helped with Joshua's packing before feeding both children some sort of home made Mexican concoction which was greeted with quizzical looks and was pronounced "so-so" in the taste department.
After dropping Joshua it was home to collect Sam ready for the Company Raffle Party. We walked down to Wetherspoons to meet up with some of our colleagues. A couple of beers and it was on to the party.
What a contrast to the earlier lunch, it was poorly attended, no one seemed to want to sit next to anyone else, not much socialising and I'm not overly fond of lone drinking.
It was something of a relief when Clare arrived to pick us up at around ten-thirty but a lesson learned.
