Adrift in a Sea of Leaves

Still here.

I'm taking photos every day (can't break the habit), but I just don't get to upload them.


Word on the loft is that I'll hopefully get to move back in by Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed.


Several people have asked about the glowy effect I've used in several of my recent shots. I'm playing around with a newish filter called Color Efex Pro - I use it in Aperture, but there's also a Photoshop version which is basically the same. Starting with one of the preset styles and then making some adjustments to the settings, I've found I can get this really nice soft glow on brightly colored shots - it's perfect for fall foliage.
