Ho ho ho

There were a lot of Santas at Waterloo this morning. Oddly they all seemed to have BMX bikes.

I met my friend Katie under the clock, as is customary. It's a good thing she wasn't wearing a Santa suit too or I'd never have found her. Anyway we had a lovely day at the Museum of London, primarily seeing the Crime Museum Uncovered exhibition, which was fantastic. Extremely well curated, it features fascinating objects from well known London crimes that usually reside in the Met's private museum. As someone who watches and reads a lot of crime fiction I can tell you there is something very different about seeing artefacts from real life heinous crimes. Thought provoking and absorbing, we spent more than two hours going round, reading every single word.

While we were there we also ate a couple of meals and looked round more of the museum including the Written in Bone mini-exhibition of skeletons recently subjected to DNA analysis. Oh and we paid the shop a visit ;)
