Stocking up

TallGirl was working at the Christmas market this morning, selling cakes and the like. As taxi driver, that meant I was at the market earlier than usual and had a slow amble around with time for lots of chat with pals popping up at every turn.

The weather warmed up nicely in the afternoon sufficient to allow a nice relaxing sit in the sun with my book. After recent days of rushing about, it was good to just stop.

Later, in preparation for our pre-Christmas Christmas, I made a Buche de Noel, wrapped some presents and filled the stockings. Then all dolled up for a night out with Mr B, where we unwisely chose the 'chef's choice' menu. Seemed his choice tonight was to give us about 50% more food than anyone could eat! All very tasty though.
