Smile :)

Took a trip to the local shopping centre today. Purchased this pretzel (maxi laugenbrezel) - hubby thought it looked more like a smile. (Extra is from the centre - their Christmas display.)

Not knowing the area on our own (our daughter and son-in-law usually direct us), this is only our third visit, but bringing our sat nav with us thought it would be OK. Setting off in our hire car (fiat 500 lounge - so cute), started ok but soon went wrong - repeated a couple of circuits before getting off at the junction we needed. My head is still in right hand driving mode ..... Dropped into the Naffi on the way back for some milk (the Germans drink UHT).

Home for lunch, followed by a movie. Dogs keeping us fit, up and down the stairs for walks - can't wait for them to be re-housed into a house with a garden!

Off for a bit of sight-seeing tomorrow (although everything shuts on Sunday's), but not far so shouldn't get lost (fingers crossed).
