GREENHOW, UPPER NIDDERDALE

First spot of snow for me today, driving up to Pateley via Greenhow Hill when we hit upon an accident, waited for half an hour before doing a dodgy three point turn (couldn't see the sides of the road b then) and headed over to Harrogate instead, shame as I had booked lunch in one of our favourite places and was going to order a nice bit of Beef for Christmas at Featherhead's, over 100 years a butchers in this parish, dearest has been going since she was a wee girl and thats a while ago too!
