Wild

Ms H was performing at her singing teacher's end of term concert today. Although she's been going almost a year, she missed the summer concert so this was the first time she has sung on her own. When she first sung to us in May 2014 we were taken aback given she'd been keeping it to herself and previously we'd been hesitant to agree to take her to singing lessons if she couldn't even sing to us. 

Even when she did sing, we were not sure how lessons could help since it was not like learning the technical skills, such as piano. However we were obviously wrong and she has come on leaps and bounds even since her first public singing in January.

So it was another musical day, there were some lovely voices on show and great to hear a variation in styles. We decided to round off our day with some Whiplash - wow, still a great film proving it's a long way to the top (if you want to rock'n'roll)!
