Christmas has officially begun

Family tradition has, for years and years, dictated that Christmas starts with the purchase of the Christmas edition of the Radio Times. To be thoroughly examined, programmes marked by all family members and then the clashes hotly debated. I bought it this year and then for the first time felt disappointed rather than excited. firstly minutes after purchase I made the link to it being a BBC publication, I am nae very happy with the Beeb these days so I was kicking myself before I had even left the shop, then I began to think about the way our TV works now, it will be our first year with all that catch up, player options, so no need for the marker pen and the fun of family fisticuffs and haggling. It has left me wistful for days gone by, ach well time for a G n T and even more wistfulness!
