Watching

I can't find a way of showing you the whole picture here : Collared Dove on feeder with his eye firmly on Chavo who's tucked away also watching from under a nearby bush. If I try to photo Chav he'll happily trot out to greet me.
It's become a morning ritual. I'm glad to report Sir has caught nothing yet.

I'm a great fan of the film Director Terence Davies. I enjoyed hugely his latest 'Sunset Song', an adaptation of an Scots novel set in the North East working class farming community 1914. It's familiar Davies stuff : working class toughness, violent, brutal father, mothers destroyed by frequent births. lush landscape, singing. life overcoming in the face of adversity. I loved it and would see it again but it's come off fast to make room for the usual Xmas drivel, that puts bums on seats ( I'm told ).
Enjoy the day dearies XX
