And they're off!

A close call but my 10k night run at Grizedale went ahead last night. A few entrants couldn't get there as travel from north Cumbria and Scotland was almost impossible due to snow.

My son and quite a few other children had a 1 km fun run before the main event. He was 4th across the line behind older boys. Then he had snow ball fights in the playground!

It was around 0c when I raced and a lot of the route had crunchy snow on it which made a lovely sound to run on. A tough course and at times creepy when I was on my own in the dark forest...

Pleased to finish 176th out of 191 in a reasonable time (for me!) of 1 hour 17 minutes. Think I'll be trying again next year...
