sleeping in the cold
It certainly has felt pretty cold this weekend ...
... so, here is a William Carlos William poem, about winter trees; some of which I snapped earlier this morning:
Winter Trees
All the complicated details
of the attiring and
the dis-attiring are completed!
A liquid moon
moves gently among
the long branches.
Thus having prepared their buds
against a sure winter
the wise trees
stand sleeping in the cold.
