Monster

Cal has built a monster PC, that's the slab on the table. The perspex side-panel means that the internal gubbins can be seen and there is even a digital display which shows codes for the motherboard status. Today I was invited to "fix" it as he's had a problem with the OS. After plenty of looking and swearing and tea drinking it appears that the problem might be a lack of patience on his part. I've left it to run the task which it seems might take a couple of hours rather than the 2 minutes he's been allowing it. We'll see if that sorts it but if it doesn't there is a fall-back plan. Overall it's working fine and I'm very proud of his achievement (but I'm always proud of my children :-))
