Monmouth Town
After another lazy lay in, and late breakfast, we had a drive to Monmouth for a circular walk along the river at the rear of the town centre.
On the way it was really foggy and it was no different when there, and as we zig-zagged through country lanes on the way back. The walk through fields was muddy and boggy, and the River Monnow fast flowing. A tribute to the atrocious weather we've had of late.
The blip photo is of St Mary's Priory Church in Whitecross Street, Monmouth. It is built in the 18th century on the site of a Benedictine Priory founded there in 1075.
