Buffet lunch

The Golf Club Christmas Lunch today took the form of a buffet. A vast selection of dishes were on offer for our starter, and then the carvery consisted of turkey or beef. Hearty desserts followed! Then we sang carols and Christmas songs. I tried not to take too much food because tonight we are going for a meal next door where our neighbour is celebrating his eightieth birthday. Why do things always happen on the same day?
