The Barn

It was a grey, damp, heavy day today. We were determined to get out so decided on a trip to Barn Antiques in Long Marston then onto Hidcote Gardens for coffee.  We achieved the first bit of the plan but chickened out of driving onto Hidcote and headed back to Stratford for coffee at Nero.

This afternoon I did Christmassy things, writing cards, wrapping presents etc. whilst keeping half an eye on Villa's dismal performance against Arsenal.

This is the corner of one of the sales room at the Barn, there is something distinctly odd about the small pine cabinet.
