Wholey moley that's holey

Another grey Sunday.......quick walk for the papers, and a quick snap of some derelict barn buildings not far from home, we just got caught on the way back, as the rain started to fall, yet again!

We wanted some eggs, so we could have dippy eggs and soldiers for lunch, but the ones they had in Tesco express were minute,! We decided a quick drive to the farm shop was in order. We would have walked it if it hadn't started pouring! We got some extra large eggs, 5 kg of potatoes, satsumas, chestnuts and some dates.........bargain prices too :-)

After lunch, I decided to make something for dinner. I had some pork shoulder steaks, so concocted an onion and apple casserole and I tried a couple of the potatoes for roasting, to make sure that variety (wilger) will be good for Christmas Day.....there are!! The casserole was a success to, will definitely make it again :-)

I decided to blip this shot, although not very colourful, I,thought it fit th bill for Derelict Sunday and I liked the irony on the sign ;-)
