What a relief! It may not have done much in the way of opening, but the smell was great for the first few days (no way of capturing that though). I guess I shall now delete all the JPEGs (several thousand) that I took for the time-lapse, as there is not much point in trying to do anything with them.

As mentioned before, I used the GH1 with its mains power, with a cheap third party remote and timer, and I shot fairly basic JPEGs, as I originally planned to produce only video quality, and this made for a huge saving in storage compared with the usual RAW images I shoot.
