Night terrors
You'd never know from this picture, but he was very distressed an hour ago - crying, hitting out, rambling on about something or other. It happens regularly, and I'm pretty convinced it's night terrors (rather than nightmares). He is never fully awake, doesn't recognise us, and is impossible to comfort. I find it quite upsetting. ZQ used to get terrors when he was unwell and had a temperature, but Noo gets them at least 2 or 3 times a week. Hopefully he'll grow out of them.
Apart from GravyC, who raced cross country, we have had a lazy day! ZQ didn't get dressed until after 3pm!!! I did venture out for a run this afternoon, and GravyC dragged the boys out for a walk. Noo chose to walk "like a penguin" with wellies on the wrong feet (and trousers back to front, but that's not unusual!!)
He amused us with this story in bed this morning:
N - "0nce, in America, there was an old man walking down the road, and he was going to be eaten by a crocodile, and the crocodile ate him"
Me - "urgh! What happened to the crocodile?"
N - "Somebody shot him"
G - "Did the man get out?"
N - "Yes, he did"
Me - "Was he chewed up?"
N - "He was a bit wet!"
G - "Did he write a book?"
N - "He did, but he left it in the crocodile's mouth"
