Ashford Weir

This morning work took me to the village of Ashford about 35km north of here where I have managed to get a squad of guys together to clear a very overgrown area which has been given to the local community by the land owner in order to develop a park and kiddies playground. While there I took a minute to shoot a couple of frames of this weir in the river. As you can see there is no shortage of water. The result of the pretty incessant rain we have been having in what is known as the summer of 2012.
