Blue Heron At Commonwealth Lake

It's really been terribly cold and rainy now for several weeks, which doesn't help "wildlife photography"; but at the urging of my birding buddies, I ventured out for a few hours to visit Commonwealth Lake in Beaverton.  There was an amazing variety of subjects, and something happening around every turn of the lakeside path, including intermittent rain.  I neglected to wear my fingerless mittens, which was pretty stupid...still trying to warm-up!  But it was a great day and fun to catch up and share stories.
