Not what we expected.  Changed our original plans of driving to Leavenworth for their Christmas Tree lighting ceremony because we heard they weren't getting much snow.  Decided to drive up to Mt. Baker instead and holy cow, did we get snow. . . and wind, lots and lots of it.  We were the only ones on our favorite sledding hill (we were worried it would be too busy) and we only lasted about 15 min as the wind, snow and freezing rain was demolishing our faces.  We decided to go to the lodge to warm up and realized this was Alex's first experience with a ski lodge.  Best hot chocolate ever.  Alex pointed out that the wind had died down, so we went out for some more sledding just before dark.  So much stinking fun.  

Next adventure. . . ski lessons for Alex.  We're talking about it. . .
