Christmas cheer

Desperately backblipping after a busy weekend...

Today we set out to visit friends for a weekend stay.  As we are now so behind with our festive planning schedule, we took the opportunity to pop back to Van Hage's en route to pick up a couple of presents.  This garden centre(!) really does pull out all the stops when it comes to presenting their Christmas wares and this cosy fireside scene greets you as you enter the main store.
The friends that we were visiting were my longest standing friend ( we met circa 1963) and her husband.  We went out for a wonderful curry after which the men retired to bed at a sensible time, whilst we girls sat up talking until 3,30am!  I think it's a sign of true friendship that even if you don't get together that often, when you do, you never run out of things to talk about!
