Red(ish) Sky
My good friend, Gabrielle, and I participate in a monthly get together where we may cook lunch/dinner and then watch a film that is not in English. Our little Foreign Film Club has been going for 4 years now and it even has it's own Facebook Group where we schedule the viewings and keep notes on the films we have watched.
This year we have fallen a little behind to the point we had only viewed 9 films by December. Today we got a double screening in with lunch and a dog walking session thrown in for good measure.
Lunch was baked sweet potatoes with feta cheese and a side salad with mustard and balsamic dressing.
Film 1 was The Double Life Of Veronique by acclaimed Polish director Krzysztof Kieślowski (sadly no longer with us) followed by film 2 which was Bernardo Bertolucci's The Conformist.
In between we took Gabrielle's family dog Bertie for a walk. Today's Blip was taken as light was leaving the day in the fields behind Mount Pleasant Road in Grange Hill.
