Run-up to the Olympics

Today has been a many and varied day, one event of which was being lucky enough to see the Olympic torch passing through Market Harborough. Dean Barnett is pictured here as the torch bearer, passing by St Dionysius church right in the town centre. Despite the on/off rain (I got fairly soaked) there were a few thousand people lining the streets, some areas being two or three people deep. The moment was very brief, but I'm glad I can say 'I was there!'
