Pretty Sheep

I was going stir crazy tonight! I didn't mind how bad the weather was, I was just eager to do something outdoors between work and sitting down with Photoshop. Something that didn't involve yet another wander round the garden with the camera.

I keep seeing a field of nice sheep and have been waiting for a sunny evening to get the evening light across the field to back-light them. That isn't going to happen! I had never seen this breed before, I think it's a breed called Castle Milk Moorit, developed by Sir Jock Buchannan-Jardine of Dumfriesshire.

There's something nice about standing at the gate looking at a herd of sheep, looking back at you. I stopped to take some shots yesterday and they all came running towards me making such a noise. They can't have liked what they saw because they kept their distance tonight!

She's very pretty, though and worth a look large!
