Ever-increasing Circles

We did our monthly Wetland Birds Survey today. It was very grey, but mild and still and we enjoyed our walk. We saw the usual suspects but the number of Great Crested Grebe had increased to 5. We also saw a large skein of Pink-footed Geese fly over. Sadly, this doesn't count, and they were not using the reservoir as a stop-over.
