advent games

I asked my son to pop over after school today to help me with my Advent videos. He films, I play. This was an accidental snap where he had the phone set to camera instead of video. Accidental is absolutely how this all came about.
This is the third year I've been doing it, and some of you took part in last year's. It has been / is an enjoyable thing to do and came out of nothing really. I had an old ukulele lying about the house and someone at work was going to buy her daughter one. I said she could have mine and posted a wee video of me playing it to show her that it actually worked.
The response from friends was so warm and cheering that I decided to make an Advent, song-a-day, thing of xmas songs and ended up buying myself another ukulele!
So this year it's about xmas number ones and the thing I love, the thing that got me started, is how this daft wee thing creates a little light in the dark days of December.
