Nothing like a teenage daughter's BlackBerry going kaput to cause an immediate crisis. Poor little thing's fingers are all a twitch. So now busy trying to work out how best to get it fixed, preferably without it disappearing by post into a service centre black-hole. And all because one of the usb's port's metal contacts has gone all akimbo, preventing it from charging.

I took the photo as a record of the phone's fault, but I quite liked it, so I decided to turn it into a blipping nuisance.
