Doubtful Sound

It was misty and wet during our cruise on Doubtful Sound, but what a beautiful dreichness it was! So atmospheric and very Lord of the Rings-ish.

The boat was so comfortable and all the crew were great - there was even a wee girl from Rathfriland in N Ireland!

Gustavo took to a kayak while the Ards Man and the Precious went for a little foray in the ship's tender. I stayed aboard (it was raining hard at this stage!)

We were taken up as far as the Tasman Sea, where our skipper demonstrated his skill by taking us close to the rocks where lots of fur seals were basking. It was fantastic!
