Mr. Mandrill

We left cold and snowy Sedona late this morning and headed to the zoo in Phoenix, Arizona.  For some reason, there were very few people there which made the visit quite enjoyable.  

The Mandrill exhibit was my favorite for the day.  I've seen Mandrill's in other zoos but never have seen ones as colorful or clean.  

After the zoo, we checked into our hotel and then went down to the street level where they have a beautiful Christmas display and ice skating rink.  I think we stood there for close to two hours just people watching.  We would have been up for skating ourselves but are a little sore from our jeep tour on Sunday evening.
