Dunlin(Calidris alpina)
A Dunlin doing his morning exercises and showing off his beautiful wings. There are lots of these birds around at the moment and the only way to identify them against the equally abundant Curlew Sandpiper is the bill of the Dunlin curves downwards at the tip, whereas the Culew Sandpipers bill is longer and is curved along its entire length. The extras today are a photo of the magnificent Royal Opera House and a beautiful sunset at my local beach. The weather in Oman at the moment is perfect! With the temperature at around 25degrees and white fluffy clouds! I love it and so do the birds.
