'Rejuvenation'
This Fatsia has sprung back into life after a hard prune last year. Such a cheery plant in Winter....it comes in very handy for flower arrangements, so I don't want to lose it. Looks like the birds have been feeding from it.
We went to buy our Christmas tree this afternoon...the tree plantation was looking quite sparse (compared to last year). I walked around thinking I wasn't going to find one...then a beautiful tree whispered 'CHOOSE ME' . They were so short staffed they just gave P a saw ...good job he was able to cut it . I suppose someone would have helped if we had been unable to do it ourselves! I wonder what will be left for next year, apparently they had a very busy weekend. Nice to know so many folk are still opting for a fresh tree though!.
Note! Always treat a Christmas tree LIKE A FLOWER.....cut a bit off the bottom when you get home and stand in a bucket of water....then when you bring the tree into the house to decorate, CUT again and put in a stand with a water reservoir.
