Tennessee Cuisine

While in Tennessee, Richard and I had lunch at the Southern Belle Restaurant. (The trailer in the background is not the restaurant, incidentally.) The food was pretty mediocre, the "sweet tea" seemed to be really sugar syrup with a little tea flavoring added, but the fried green tomatoes were actually quite good. Our waitress was super friendly and charming - she called the tomatoes "fried maters" and she even wrote it that way on the check!
