of replacing brake system master cylinders is limited to two facts: the Haynes manual takes many steps to describe what needs to be done, and secondly that it looks expensive. The Landrover has other  serious sounding problems (if you need your ball cover replacing, that sounds like a general anaesthetic for starters) so it seems time to say DNR.
