Shottery

Our friends Nicola and Stewart came over today. I only had to prepare the first course, cream of celery soup, and topping for the butternut squash, spinach and black bean bake. This meant I had the chance to go for a walk before they arrived. I went to Shottery where I took this photo of the leaves floating on the brook, amongst others.

We had a nice lunch and spent a good afternoon relaxing and chatting in front of the fire.

In house news: Roof Man came this morning to replace the flat roof at the front of the house over the porch and garage. His dog came too, see extra.
