Raku firing

Out of the frying pan .... into the fire ....
Carlisle traffic not too bad this morning but then only had to get to the outskirts. I was unimpressed to hear that Carlisle Tesco's (which was flooded) have told staff they either have to get to Hexham or another store to work (if on full-time contracts) and the part-timers or zero hour workers have nothing.
This evening, driving into Kendal it was a very sorry sight to see all the furniture and belongings lining the streets although the town itself was 'thrang'.
