Stone the crows (or are they rooks?)

Last week I passed this tree and it was covered with birds - not able to stop then, so today I looked out for them. There didn't seem to be so many as they were spread over two adjacent trees but still quite a crowd in this shot.
Another very dull day - didn't really get light all day - so the shot is naturally mono.
