A Baptism

We don't all get easy starts in life, with a collection of childhood photos to prove it. We don't all know what happened in our early childhood either.
I performed a wonderful baptism for this lady in the middle today. She had a strong suspicion that she had missed out on an infant baptism,and could I quietly help her. She asked the other 2 ladies to be her sponsors or god parents. One of them Gladys,decided that if wouldnt be such a quiet or private affair, and she invited us and special guests to a slap up morning tea.

I have been to her house several times, now, and I had no idea that she had a "Front Room" in which to host these occassions!
All told, it was a beautiful and heart warming morning to share with these faithful people in my parish.
